Logistics and Important Details

Hello Everyone. Welcome to our Live 1000 Hands Buddha Qigong weekend workshop!

When: This workshop takes place over 3 (1/2) days in December;

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2025, @ 9am - 2pm Pacific / 10am - 3pm Mountain / 11am - 4pm Central / 12pm - 5pm Eastern time. With time built in for small bio breaks, to take air or nourishment and find relief.

Each day will flow through a combination of learning practice and learning theory, with time for questions and exchange. This form is a sitting practice, so we will spend much of the weekend sitting together.

What to bring and preparing your space:

Our breaks will be somewhat short, so I recommend that you have snacks or lunch pre-made, so that you have plenty of time to eat when we break. I also recommend that you have your water or tea nearby, so that you can access those readily.

You will need a pen and paper for notes. I live to use a book, that hosts all of my notes for the form, so that I keep it together, but you likely have your own methods for this. We will cover some theory as well as details about the form and it will help to have a pen and notebook nearby for these sections.

I recommend that you set up your space to be comfortable sitting in meditation, and also sitting for learning and note taking. There are many arm and hand movements in the form, so give yourself enough space for these movements.

You will need comfortable, perhaps loose fitting clothing, and you may want a blanket or jacket nearby in case you get cold at any point.

Notifications and Getting into our Shared Space: There will be a zoom link provided here in the classroom hub and several reminder emails sent out with the link embedded for the workshop.

Recordings and Access:

Recordings of the live class will be made available at the end of each day of the workshop. These recordings will be available for your review for exactly one month. You may watch them in the Hub as many times as you wish over the course of that month. However, the recordings and the entire class hub on the teachable platform are only available for review until January 6th, 2026. The will be removed on that morning, without delay. This is in keeping with the wishes of my teachers and the whole of the Liu family and Ling Gui system of sharing qigong. I hope you will find this supportive.
